Itching to do something but having absolutely no idea what it is your wanting to do has to be one of the most frustrating things you can experience. Especially when it's cold outside and you can hear the wind rustling through the trees and you just know that being outside might not be the smartest idea in the world, but you're still itching to do something.
Well, here are some winter day activity inspiration for you - for the friend group:
- Have a bonfire (but make sure you wrap up warm!)
- Make homemade hot chocolate - go on, make it as indulgent as possible
- Have a shopping mall treasure hunt
- Have a games night with loads of snacks - everyone brings something to add to the spread
- Host a Sunday night potluck
- Go to a new museum or art gallery
- Book an experience (for example, go to the hot springs in the Mornington Peninsula for you Melburnians)
- Go to an indoor water park
And if you want a day to yourself:
- Read a book by a fire or go to your local library and read there
- Have a bake day
- Pinterest some arts and crafts to do
- Light a scented candle and re-organise your room
- Take a trip down memory lane and do some scrapbooking
- Go for an early walk and watch the sunrise (take a hot drink with you or treat yourself to one)
- Binge-watch some Netflix or have a lazy movie day (I'm sure you deserve one)
Of course there's loads of ideas out there, but I hope these bring you some joy.
